The tentacles of Power dropped into anarchist spaces, libertarian social centres, squatted houses and residences of several acratists in Catalonia and Madrid. The hunt captured eleven comrades; of these seven have been kept in prison, accused of belonging to an armed gang terrorist in nature. It is no coincidence that the arrestees are part of my immediate circle; indeed, more than half of them frequently visited me in prison. The judicial-policial gavel has punished solidarity.

Athens: Nikos Romanos ended his hunger strike
18 December 2013Nikos Romanos, anarchist prisoner in Greece, was on hunger strike from the 10th of November until the 10th of December 2014. The judicial mechanisms refused his furlough request to attend university classes. In response to this, multiform actions of solidarity took place inside and outside the prisons of Greek democracy and internationally.

A brief report from the December 6th riot of Helsinki
11 December 2013The demo headed for the upper class parts of the city smashing windows and damaging expensive cars and spray painting slogans. People also tore down Finnish flags and burned a couple of them. After a long while the police managed to surround the demo, but after one unsuccessful attempt of breaking through which led to some arrests, the demonstration managed to escape the siege and went on to one of the richest areas of the city. A lot of property was damaged ranging from traffic signs to jewelry stores.

Strike where it hurts most !
8 December 2013Early in the morning of Wednesday 23rd a SNCF operational cabin went on fire in Vitry-sur-Seine. It’s not surprising because news of this kind can be often found in local tabloids. Technical incident, human error, overheating… or maybe arson. An action someone carried out for fun, maybe, or to give vent to their anger at one of the clogs of the world’s power machine, and not a minor one in this case! Maybe an action carried out on the spur of the moment, without planning it or knowing what was inside the cabin? Or an occurrence that would alarm railway operators and cops: the people who put fire knew very well what it was all about and its consequences? What we know about the fire comes from the press – that is to say the cops. And certainly the latter don’t like anyone to be too much interested in their business. As in the cabin there were machines that regulate railway traffic, its reactivation meant that the speed train lines serving the station of Austerlitz (near Vitry) had to be stopped; in fact there were no trains on Wednesday 23rd July and in part on the following day.

Koridallos prison (Athens)Â : Announcement of hunger strike by anarchist G. Mihailidis
27 November 2013In the adverse condition of imprisonment, where daily life is summarized
in the word subjugation, there are minimal means left to fight with.
Here where the prospect of complete liberation seems far, against the
total surrender they offer you as the only choice, come moments you
consider worthy of negotiation. No matter how foreign negotiating with
authority is to us. In no case however will we negotiate our anarchist
characteristics, we will not make a step back on the integrity of our
words, we will not sell out our struggle for which we are hostages of
the state. -
Athens (Koridallos)Â : Text of solidarity to Nikos Romanos from his comrades in the Velvedo case

The Case of the Dog
25 November 2013It almost happened that the Commissariat of Clichy — this police office that has served as the backdrop for legendary cases of the third degree — met its end in an apotheosis of dynamite.
