  • Chronology of the Solidarity action week with the arson of vincennes in France

    27 February 2009

Still incomplete. See it in French.

  • The bad example

    8 February 2009

Next February 10, a month after the unrest in Rosarno that showed the whole world the conditions under which poor foreigners live in Italy (exploited, hounded, rejected, deported), the appeal trial in Lecce of some anarchists who fought against modern slave masters a few years ago will come to an end.

  • No fortress of power is invulnerable ...as long as we are determined

    7 February 2009
They will never convince us, those fanatics of democracy, that life equals survival, that work liberates, that we have to be submissive slaves in the cogwheels of a global machine based on exploitation and oppression. We will never become “good citizens” submerged in the depressing loneliness of our couch, audacious cowards at the commands of the security doctrine, satisfied with the mediocrity of our existence. They will never correct our desires with laws, regulations and dungeons. There (...)
  • Antiterrorism in France: New investigation for an old case

    25 January 2009
January 24th: Juan charged again! It’s an old investigation about train sabotage during anti-CPE movement (2006) turns into anti-terrorism case. An indictment points at one persone. August 2009, the anti-terrorism judge Brunaud, who takes care of the ‘smoke grenade’ and the ‘tow truck’ cases of January 2008 (see here), decides to start closing this investigation. As usual, during the three following months, the accused and the prosecutor can make comments and ask new “parts of (...)
  • And old lullaby…

    23 janvier 2009

Since 2007, repressive structures are tested frantically and our reactions also. An opportunity to open files about links and networks, and to put pressure on solidarity groups. More than a year before the Tarnac arrests, the terrorist accusation, well used already in Italy or Germany, appears.

  • Migrants rebel against the racism of Rosarno

    18 January 2009

On January 9 and 10, hundreds of immigrants rose up in Rosarno, a little town in the south of Italy. After some were shot at with an air rifle, the insurgents, armed with sticks and stones, blocked the main roads by building barricades. From the centre of Rosarno, windows of shops and businesses were shattered, barricades were set alight and there were hard clashes with the police …and some of the local population demanding that ‘all blacks be expelled from Rosarno’. Some citizens used their cars to run down immigrants, others armed themselves with batons, axes and guns to quell the revolt.

  • The Passion for Freedom

    8 January 2009

Yet one more episode in the chronicles of repression is now well-known to all: on October 1 Alfredo Bonanno (from Italy) and Christos Stratigopoulos (from Greece), two anarchists who have already been hit by repression on a number of occasions, were arrested in Greece following a robbery, and imprisoned in the small town of Amfissa. It is not our intention to comment on their action, which nevertheless has our full appreciation, nor will we indulge in other details concerning the comrades’ arrest, which have been abundantly exposed in previous leaflets and communiques.

  • A brief outline of the solidarity in France with the Vincennes detention center prisoners in trial and against all sort of prisons

    2 January 2009

In solidarity to the rebellious of Vincennes retention center (prison for immigrants to be deported) who pass in court on January 25, 26, 27th 2010, for burning their prison during a revolt in June 2008. A week of solidarity is set from the 16th to the 24th of January. Here is a very brief outline of solidarity actions, it is far from complete for translation reasons.

  • Letter from Christos

    2 January 2009

The main problem is still Alfredo’s very precarious health situation. Apart from all his health problems, which as you know he had before entering prison here in Greece, now the pain in his shoulder is coming back because of the tumour which, according to the diagnosis that they made in Italy, needed to be operated on. There can be no doubt that his general health situation has got worse from the moment he went back to prison. This fact is also due to the extremely bad conditions of detention that we are both coping with, particularly Alfredo because of his age.

  • Non-news about drugs

    1 January 2009
There are at least two ways to make music. The negative one and the positive one. We can screech as long as we like on the strings of a violin and still not succeed in making what comes out music. But a whole portfolio of scores of the great composers still does not make a musician. It follows that one should not pay attention to how things are said as much as to what is being said. There is as much violin mg about drugs today as there is about everything else. Each plays their own way, (...)
