About some arrests in Paris on the 14th of July (national day)

Sunday 27 July 2008

All the versions of this article: [English] [français]

On the night between the 13th and 14th of July, 4 comrades were arrested in the
vicinity of a vehicle which had caught fire. They are accused of "damage of
another’s possession using dangerous means".

During their 48 hours of custody they didn’t declare anything and they furthermore
refused to undergo DNA sampling, be fingerprinted and have their photos taken (for
all of which they are also charged). They were transferred to the cells to be judged
on immediate appearance the following day. But the judge asked for further
evaluation and so the trial has been postponed until October 2009. Meanwhile, they
have been placed under judicial control and must go once per week to sign.

Guilt, just like innocence, belongs to the language of the pigs and judges and,
whatever the case, it’s absurd to cry over a burning car. In the same way, it will
always be a pleasure to see individuals refusing to feed the enemy’s files.

In spite of the dull greyness of repression, there will constantly be fireflies. The
problem is not the fireflies but rather the night.

The individuals in question.
